Dentistry is a dream come true for Dr. Hal Henderson. “Every day I look forward to the opportunity to work with people to help create and maintain beautiful and healthy smiles!” Dentistry is a second career for Dr. Henderson. He worked briefly with software but found that his favorite aspect of the job was not working with computers, but with other people. Dentistry was something Dr. Henderson had been interested in for a while, and the opportunity to work directly with patients one-on-one with a caring staff seemed like the perfect profession to him. Dr. Henderson was trained at the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. In addition to his dental school duties, he participated in student leadership as Class Vice-President, and later as Class President. His love of working with other people shone through, and he was awarded the Dr. Thomas R. Bales Good Samaritan Award and the Kevin J. Campbell School Service Award. He was also a member of the Aesthetics Club and Dental Ethics Club. He also found a love for implant dentistry, a great option for replacing missing teeth. Dr. Henderson also completed a General Practice Residency at the medical center in Jackson, Mississippi. “I was really able to see how crucial dentistry is to our overall health. The mouth really is the gateway to the rest of our body.” There he also continued his work in implant placement and restoration. In the residency, Dr. Henderson furthered his knowledge in all aspects of general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions (including wisdom teeth removal), gum surgery, and orthodontics Dr. Henderson is now excited to be part of the PV Dentistry team. He has a passion for patient education and making patients feel very comfortable about any decisions they make. “I want patients to know that you won’t find a more caring team anywhere, than right here at PV Dentistry.”
Thomas grew up in a military town, the son of a Marine and RN. His first foray into dentistry began when he was in the U.S. Air Force. After his service, he attended Mohave College for dental hygiene, and has been in private practice ever since. His time as a dental hygienist has been very rewarding. He enjoys meeting new faces, helping patients overcome their dental fears, and also helping patients reach their dental goals. Thomas has lived all across the western United States, but Arizona has always felt like home. He enjoys Prescott for its friendly people, great climate, and downtown area. On his free time, he enjoys reading about history and archaeology. He also enjoys playing guitar, computer games, and hiking.
Ashleigh is native to the quad city area, calling Prescott Valley her home. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years before finding her calling in dentistry as a Dental Assistant. What she loves most about dentistry is meeting new people and helping patients restore their smiles as well as their confidence. Her ultimate goal is to further her career in dentistry by becoming an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to assist the doctor in providing more advanced care for patients. Ashleigh is a wife and mother to three children: two boys and a girl. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, finding new adventures to take her children on, going to concerts with her husband and reading novels.
Riley is originally from Los Angeles and moved here from Minnesota where she is currently saving for college for child psychology and linguistics. While working mostly in the mental health field, Riley has learned how to navigate numerous stressful situations, along with people’s concerns. Her bright smiling face is the first thing people see when they come in to be greeted while waiting for their appointment. In her free time Riley enjoys dancing, writing, watching sports and reading about psychology and sociology. She is an avid Dodgers, Vikings and Avalanche fan who’s always busy on game day. She enjoys the family-like environment in Prescott Valley and is excited to continue her journey here.
Resa is our Office Manager at PV Dentistry, with over 25 years of dental office experience in administrative leadership. She specializes in managing seamless office operations, budgeting and optimizing internal communications. Her expertise ensures that the workplace runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing her colleagues to focus on their core responsibilities. Resa is a third generation Arizonan and second generation Prescottonian. She has lived in Prescott most of her life except for living in Phoenix for 10 years. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, going to concerts, watching classic movies and enjoying life.
Harold Henderson Sr. has had over 40 years of experience in business including computers, banking, management, and entrepreneurship. He has a B.S. in Finance with minors in Economics and Accounting from BYU in Utah and an MBA from Utah State University. He is proud to be working with his son, Dr. Harold Henderson DDS in providing excellent dental care to the people of Prescott Valley and the surrounding area.
